The 51st Annual Montauk Saint Patrick's Day Parade, sponsored by the Montauk Friends of Erin each year, is widely considered the official 'start' of the new season.

~~~ NEW STARTING TIME - 10AM ~~~

Montauk's Saint Patrick's Day Parade, the second largest St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York State, starts at the Montauk Firehouse (across from the LIRR Train Station) and winds down Edgmere St., eventually looping through town and ending near the West end of town by the IGA. There are always lots of fun floats, some good marching bands and a fun time for the entire family. Tips: Don't plan on getting out of town quickly after the parade if you drive. Bring a blanket & layers, the weather can change quickly in Montauk.
