Move away from the railroads if you have a problem with the LIRR. They been there since the 1860s, and why do you think your area is populated as it is now? Answer: the RR. The RR's are in enough trouble these days, they don't need a bunch of whining yuppie fuckwhines to cause them more trouble. Oh my god what would you people do when if there were still steam locomotives--you really wouldn't be able to watch your American Idol then, I bet!

Maybe if you were less ignorant about how your island works you wouldn't be so happy to demonize the LIRR.
