TIPS:
#1 - Be sure to bring or apply sun screen before going out as the effects of the sun are intensified by the reflection off the water and you can get sun burn very quickly.
#2 - It often feels much cooler on the water than on land, especially if it's windy and you're getting wet from rain or spray as the boat is moving. If the weather is supposed to be cool, windy or rainy, you should bring foul-weather gear (rain jacket with hood, optionally pants & boots) Even on the nicest days you should bring a wind-breaker, and layers of insulating clothing (fleece, sweatshirt, sweater, etc.) to wear under your wind breaker (or foul-weather gear).
#3 - During the winter months, remember to have waterproof or neopreme gloves, and bring an extra pair of warm mittens (for while the boat is moving and you can't fish).
